Booking and payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.

  • Your appointment is only confirmed once the deposit is received.

  • Final payment must be made on the day of your service.

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, or cash.

Cancellations / Rescheduling

  • No-shows or late cancellations (under 48 hours) will loose their deposit.

  • Rescheduling is allowed once per booking, with 48 hours notice, subject to availability.

Time Management

  • Please arrive on time or 10 minutes prior to your time-slot. Delays of more than 15 minutes may impact your service or result in cancellation with no refund.

  • Extra time required due to lateness may not be guaranteed.

Travelling to Locations

  • 2025-2026 ATO Travel fee - 0.88c/km (The start location is from my studio)

  • Travelling to location must be for a minimum of 3 people

  • Please note I will attempt to arrive early - traffic permitting to set up my station.

  • I kindly ask I have access to a bench and a power outlet.

Preparation

  • Please arrive with clean skin, the removal of makeup will eat into your service time.

  • All services included the application of lashes. If you do not require or want lashes no price will be deducted.

  • Avoid lash-lifts. Lash lifts make applying false lashes tricky, you may have to go without.

  • Please avoid waxing or facial exfoliation (such as dermabrasion) within one week of your appointment, as makeup may not adhere well to freshly treated skin.

  • If you have sensitive skin, feel free to come to your appointment wearing your regular skincare products.

Artist Rights

  • I will refuse service if a client is unwell, disrespectful, or if the environment is unsafe.

  • With your permission, I may request before and after photos for social media and portfolio use.

  • If your bridal party requires an additional makeup artist due to size or timing, a coordination fee may apply to cover sourcing and organising a second artist. This will be added to your invoice.

Liability

  • Katie Rose MUA is not liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from products used. Patch tests are available upon request.

  • Clients will be held responsible for the cost of replacement and shipping for any products that are damaged or destroyed due to mishandling by themselves or accompanying children.

Hygiene

  • All tools and products are sanitised between clients.

  • Please notify me in advance of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities.

  • I am not liable for any reactions that may occur if I’ve not been informed.
